ROLL CALL: <br />Chairman Lang called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. <br />PRESENT: Chairman J. Lang, Board members; R. Bohlrnann, B. Lord, M. Davis, P. <br />Schumann, T. Schock and P. Barker. ALSO PRESENT: Asst. Law Director B. O'Malley and Site Student Ashley Bemat. <br />ABSENT: Commission members; G. Nashar, and D. Rerko. <br />H. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF RRINUTES: <br />Under Coinmittee Reports, the sentence shouid read that it was built in a style sirnilar to the <br />Unitarian church not Unitarian style. Under Old Business, it should read installation not <br />insulation. <br />B. Lard moved to approve the April 11, 2005 Landmarks minutes as corrected. M. Davis <br />seconded the motion, roll call on the motion; J. Lang, B. Lord, M. I)avis, P. Schumann, and <br />T. Schock "yes" and R. Bohlmann abstained. Motion Carried <br />RECEPTION OF VISITORS: <br />Mr. Bill Ke11ey,1Virs. Barb Sharp, and Mr. & Mrs. Hainen <br />III. NEW BUSINESS: <br />Robert Sharp; 25407 Butternut Ridy-e Road: <br />Proposal consists of a request for a letter of appropriateness for a deck. <br />Mrs. Sharp said the deck addition would be located at the south end rear of the home. There <br />would be a 4 x 4 step and s€ep-down too 20 inehes from the ground. Mr. Lang reviewed <br />that the applicant previously received approval for the additaon and now wishes to install a <br />deck on the back of the addition. 'I'here is a board on board fence which extends the enfire <br />length of the property line, from Butternut Ridge Road to the end of the driveway at Great <br />Nortfiern Bivd. The proposed deck would not be visible from Butternut Ridge Road or <br />C`rreat Northern Blvd. Mr. Schock questioned if the entire length of fence leionged to the <br />applicant. Mrs. Sharp clarified that a section of fence belonged to her neighbor aaid <br />reviewed that although she has two driveways only one has a gate. <br />B. Lord ffioved to approve the Certificate of Appropriateness for Mr. & Mrs. Sharp of 25407 <br />Butternut Ridge Road their request to construct their wood deck as specified in the <br />application and drawings received by the building department on Apri14' and 5', 2005. P. <br />Schumann seconded the ffiotion, which was unanianously approved. <br />Mr: & Mrs. Hainen; 26515 Butternut Ridse Road: <br />Proposai consists of a request for a Ietter of appropriateness for vinyl siding.
