ROLL CALL: <br />Chairman Koeth called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm <br />PRESENT: R. Koeth, S. Hoff-Smith, M. Yager, J. Lasko, T. Hreha <br />ALSO PRESENT: Planning Director K. Wenger, Building Commissioner D. Conway, Asst. <br />Law Director B. O'Malley, L. McNabb, Planning Secretary <br />ABSENT: W. Spalding <br />III. REVIEV6' AND COItRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />In regards to the January l lt" minutes, Ms. Hoff-Smith clarified her position in the final motion <br />regarding Ord. 2004-200. She wished to change her vote to yes. Mr. Yager said on page 4 in the <br />first paragraph, the word discussed should be changed to disgusted. <br />Mr. Koeth moved to approve the minutes of January 11, 2005 as amended, Ms. Hoff-Smith <br />seconded, which was unanimously approved. <br />IV. COMMUNICATIOliTS: <br />Mr. Koeth changed the order of the agenda items so that Conrad's and Laketec were heard <br />before Shadow Wood and Halleen KIA. <br />NEW BUSINESS: <br />Conrad's, 4799 Great Northern Blvd (WRD 4): <br />Proposal consists of building modifications. Note: The Architectural Review board addressed <br />this proposal on 10/20/04 and 1/19/05. Ms. Wenger stated this proposal consists of building <br />modifications, primarily the addition of a roof topper element to the existing building. This is the <br />applicant's first appearance before Planning Commission. The ARB considered the proposal in <br />November and January. The ARB made several recommendations, including enclosing the east <br />side of the roof element and also making the roof a more regular and symmetrical. The changes <br />were made and presented in January. After discussion, following are additional <br />recommendations that ARB made: <br />A) The roof would be a metal panel with raised ribs. <br />B) Roof would come to a peak, instead of a flat ridge. <br />C) EIFS restoration be continued
