LAlVDMARKS COMMISSION <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />1dIEETING MINUTES FOR MAY 12, 2008 <br />ROLL CALL <br />Chair Schumann called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers. <br />Present: Paul Schumann, Dale Thomas, Larry Orlowski, Maryellen Davis, Tom Dubowski, <br />Jeff Herwick, Tom Schock <br />Absent: John Lasko, Don Rerko <br />Staff: Secretary Shannon English <br />REVIEW AND COItRECTION OF MINUTES <br />Mr. Herwick moved, seconded by Ma-s. Davis, to approve the Apri114, 2008 minutes with <br />corrections, which was unanimously approved. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Request for Certificate of Apnropriateness: Victor Reichle, 27663 Butternut Ridge Road, <br />PPN 235-11-006, request for a color change to the exterior of the home. <br />Mr. Reichle spoke to Mr. Schumann and discussed the color change for the exterior of the home. <br />The present color is a mustard yellow, the Reichles would like to change the color to a gray. <br />M[r. gierwick moved, seconded by Mrs. Davis, to grant Victor Reichle of 27663 Butternut <br />Ridge Road a Certifieate of Appropriateness for the exterior color change to gray from a <br />mustard yellow, which was unanimously approved. <br />I2equest for Certificate of Appronriateness: Gary and Judy Foreman, 27588 Butternut <br />12idge Road, PPN 232-11-002, request for alterations to the driveway and sidewalk. <br />Vito Ragone, contractor, described the process by which the driveway will be removed and <br />replaced. The drive and sidewalk will remain the same in width. Mr. Foreman explained the <br />circumstances under which the alteration needs to take place. <br />Mr. Schock moved, secondecl by Mr. Orlowski, to approve the Certificate of <br />Appropriateness for alterations of the drive and sidewalk for 27588 Butternut Riclge Road, <br />which was unanimously approved. <br />Request for Certificate of Annronriateness: 1Vlary Yvette Bovard, 25976 Butternut Ridge <br />Road, PPN 236-10-013, request for color change to the home's exterior and trim. <br />Ms. Bovard appeared before the Commission to explain her color changes for trim and exterior. <br />She described the use of the colors on the home which include a pale pink, a raisin color and an
