PLANNING & DESIGN COMMISSION <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />MEETING MINUTES OF JUNE 25, 2008 <br />ROLL CALL <br />Mr. Lasko called the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m. in Council Chambers and led the Pledge of <br />Allegiance. <br />Present: John Lasko, Angela Williamson, Greg Malone, Melissa Meredith, Don Rerko, Ralph <br />Bohlmann <br />Absent: Jim Cotner <br />Staff: Planning Director Kim Wenger, Assistant Law Director Bryan O'Malley, Building <br />Commissioner David Conway, City Engineer Dan Collins, Clerk of Commissions <br />Donna Rote <br />Mr. Lasko commended Mrs. Meredith on her hard worlc with the Relay for Life project which was <br />very successful. <br />REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES <br />Mr. Bohlmann and Mr. Rerko requested changes to the June 11, 2008 minutes and requested the <br />minutes be tabled until the corrections were made. <br />Mr. Lasko moved, seconded by Mr. Bohlmann, to table the June 11, 2008 Planning & <br />Design Commission minutes, which was approved 6-0. <br />COMS07-0026: Biddulph Trail; 25747 Butternut Ridge Road: (Ward 4) <br />Planning & Design Commissions report of findings <br />Mr. Laslco reviewed the process by which the Commission completed a report of findings for the <br />cluster development project. The clerk was asked to advise commissioners when the matter <br />would be discussed by City Council. <br />Mr. Lasko moved, seconded by Mrs. Meredith, to adopt the Planning & Design Commission <br />report of findings for COMS07-0026: Biddulph Trail of 25747 Butternut Ridge Road as <br />drafted at the work session. Roll call: Lasko, Meredith, Malone, Rerko, Williamson - yes; <br />Bohlmann - no. Motion approved 5-1. Mr. Bohlmann commented he is concerned that there <br />are too many storm water and sanitary issues in the area. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />COMS08-0008: Slam Jams; 24108 Lorain Road: (Ward 2) <br />Representatives: Mr. Crook, Carnegie Management; Mr. Dawes, Slam Jams' owner
