PI,ANNING & DESIGN COMMISSION CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED MEETING MINUTES OF MAY 28, 2008 ROLL CAI,L Mr. Lasko called the meeting to order at 7:39 p.m. in Council Chambers and led the Pledge of Allegiance. Present: John Lasko, Angela Williamson, Greg Malone, Melissa Meredith, Jim Cotner, Don Rerko, Ralph Bohlmann Staff: Planning Director Kim Wenger, Assistant Law Director Bryan O'Malley, Building Commissioner David Conway, City Engineer Dan Collins, Secretary Tricia Granfors Mr. Lasko apologized to those who arrived to attend the work session for the Biddulph Trail Project. An incorrect time was printed on the mailed notices, which began at 6:30 p.m. but was noticed for 7:30. Mr. Lasko reviewed the reason for the session, which was for the Commission to prepare a report for City Council. For those interested, audio CDs of the recorded meeting will be made available. 1tEVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES Mr. Lasko moved, seconded by Mr. Malone, to approve the May 14, 2008 Planning & Design Commission minutes, which were approved 6-0. Mr. Rerko abstained. OLI) BUSIIVESS COMS07-0029: Walareens Discount I)rugs; 24584 Lorain Road: (Ward 1) A proposal to consolidate Permanent Parcel Numbers 231-37-024 (0.3114 ac), 231-37-005 (0.1065 ac), 231-37-006 (0.7790 ac), 231-37-007 (0.4572 ac) and 231-37-022 (0.2531 ac) into one parcel. The consolidated parcels will total 1.9072 acres. The location is the northeast corner of Columbia and Lorain Road. The consolidated lot will be split zoned Retail Business General and Residence Multiple. The proposed consolidated parcel will conform to the frontage, depth and area requirements of the Zoning Code. Ms. Wenger reviewed that this proposal will consolidate the five parcels included in the development area, which was a condition of approval by the Planning and Design Commission and City Council. Ms. Wenger recommends approval. Mr. Collins reported the applicant submitted a revised plat with all corrections as requested and recommends approval. Representing the project, Michael Lewis confirmed the receipt of Engineer Collins' memo of May 20, 2008, and submitted revised plats at the meeting. With approval, he will prepare a mylar for signature and recording. For identification, Mr. Lasko confirmed from Mr. Lewis that he was referring to the drawing dated 5/27/08. Mr. Rerko requested clarification on what revisions were made to the drawing. Mr. Lewis said there were two changes made. All surveys were signed and sealed by a professional surveyor, and a summary of the five parcels' square footages and areas has been tabulated on the side of the drawing and summarized at the bottom.
