PLANNING & DESIGN COMMISSION <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />MINUTES OF DECEMBER 9, 2009 <br />ROLL CALL <br />Mrs.lVleredith called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers and led the Pledge <br />of Allegiance. , <br />Present: Melissa Meredith, Angela Williamson, Ra.lph Bohlmann, Greg Malone, Jim Cotner, <br />Don Rerko (arrived at 7:10 p.m.) <br />Absent: John Lasko Jr. <br />Staf£ Planning Director Kim Wenger, Assistant Law Director Bryan O'Malley, City <br />Engineer Pietro DiFranco, Building Commissioner Dale Mitchell, Clerk of <br />Commissions Donna Rote <br />REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES . <br />Mrs. Meredith moved, seconded by Ms. Williamson, to approve the Planning and Design <br />Commission minutes of October 28, 2009, which were approved 4-0. Mr. Cotner abstained. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />CMS09-10 Ganley Subaru; 25730 Lorain Road <br />Representative: Steve Durbin, Janotta & Herner Inc. <br />Ms. Wenger said the Subaru development approval was contingent upon lot cons6ltdation. Mr. <br />DiFranco said the mylar submitted met city requirements therefore he recommended approval. <br />Mr. Durbin said he was present to address the final step in Ganley's approval process. They are <br />looking to have the project completed in early spring of 2010. <br />Mrs. Meredith moved, seconded by Ms. Williamson, to approve the lot consolidation <br />proposal for CMS09-10 Ganley Subaru of 25730 Lorain Road consisting of consolidating <br />the following parcels into one parcel: 232-34-010 (.57 acres), 232-34-011 (.70 acres) and <br />232-34-015 (7.56 acres), which was unanimously approved 5-0. . <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Great Northern Multi Modal Transportation Plan <br />Representatives of Richard L. Bowen + Associates made the final presentation of the plan (see <br />attached). Mr. Malone complemented the presentation and asked if the existing bike paths were <br />included in the plan. Ms. Wenger said recommendations related to maintenance and improving <br />existing paths are mentioned in the implementation section. Mr. Rerko said he would like to <br />review the document in more detail and said he would submit written comments after the <br />meeting. Ms. Wenger said comments are still being received so that would be welcomed. Mrs. <br />Meredith asked where the city would get the funding as the cost was quite high on some of the
