The ATM will be moved to the east side of the
building. New parking spaces and a new curb cut are proposed onto Mackenzie Road. Existing
Lorain Road curb cuts will be modified, the west drive will be ingress/egress and east curb cut
will be egress only. Existing trees to be preserve include oalc trees in the parking lot island and
maples along Maclcenzie. In the expansion area a three-foot mound with plantings is proposed
along the residential property to the south and the existing stoclcade fence will be continued at
the same height. The applicants understand they are responsible for maintaining the mound and
plantings behind the fence. Newly submitted plans were to address lighting, parlcing striping,
and one direction curb cuts. Lot consolidation is required and should be a condition of approval.
Mr. Mitchell reviewed lighting issues which were addressed in the newly submitted drawings.
The proposed dumpster location is visible from the right of way, not enclosed and should be
enclosed. Mr. DiFranco said a storm water management plan is proposed and he would require a
multi stage outlet control structure for the system.
Mr. Cattani said the proposed plan stems from the need to move an ATM machine, provide
additional parking and traffic flow in, around and out of the site. The vacant parcel was
purchased with the intent of expanding the parking when needed. The building now houses an
operations center, a banlc branch and a real estate con:pany.
