REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF NIINUTES:
T. Tallon, motioned to table the minutes until the Apri114, 1998 meeting. The motion was
seconded by K O'Rourke, and unanimously approved. I_
III. BUII..DING DEPARTMENT REQUESTS:
A. Shirmer Construction, 31350 Industrial Parkwav.
Pzoposal to construct office/warehouse which will include covered storage, a recessed truck dock,
a shed, and lot renovations. Variances will be required.
Mr. Tallon called all interested parties forward for the Shimer Construction proposal. Mr. Tonny
Cerny came forward to Present the proposaL Mr.Cemy stated I'm with the Architectural Designs
Studios, I'm the Architect for this project, we are proposing the construction of two buildings, the
first would house offices for the construction company and most of their equipment inside as a
warehouse in addition to that we have a secondary shed which is a three sided shed opened
towards the yard. R. Tallon questioned what variances are you requesting. Mr. Cerny stated,
from my understanding we are requiring a variance on the width of the drives from the 24 ft. to 30
ft. which is because of the larger trucks used for the constauction equipment we want to have
adequate space to bring the trucks in and out, and the second variance is the shed building and on
the larger building there is a larger shed on the back that is open on one side which faces North
towards the yards, this is considered open storage so we are asking for a variance to allow those
areas to be open, they are used to bring construction vehicles out from under the weather they aze
not heated spaces. Mr. Rymarczyk stated one other area I believe on the outside were the gravel
area is. Mr. Cerny stated yes I was referring to that area of storage on the east side which is open
to the back north west end of.the property, the main build.ing storage area will be open on the
north side. Mr. Rymarczyk stated please show them were the gravel area will be. Mr. Cerny
stated in the north east side of the properiy there will be a gravel surface area which is meant for
bringing in the track equipment which is abusive to the concrete and other surfaces, the company
also does quite a bit of'work for the high way so they have concrete structures that they will store
in the north east back area. Mr. Brennan stated I see gas and diesel tanks what capacity are we
talking about, how many gallons aze in each one. Mr. Cerny stated there is on road diesel at 500
gallons, and off road diesel 500 gallons, and gas is 250 gallons. Mr.Youngmau from Shirmer
