Gomersall Called the meeting to order at: 7:35pm. <br />PRESENT Chairman, R. Gomersall, Board Members, W. Kremzar, J. Konold, T. Koberna, and J. <br />Maloney. <br />ALSO PRESENT Law Director, M. Gareau, Building Commissioner, D. Conway, and Clerk of <br />Commissions, D. Rote <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF M1IVUTES: The Board of Zoning and Appeals minutes dated June 3, <br />1999 and July 1, 1999 have been submitted for approval. <br />J. Konold motioned to approve the June 3, 1999 and 7uly 1, 1999 Board of Zoning Appeals minutes as <br />written. The motion was seconded by W. Kremzar and unanimously approved. <br />III. BUILDING DEPARTMENT REQUESTS: <br />l. Terry Zeager; 23723 Vincent Dr.: <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Proposal consists of expanding the existing garage. <br />The following variance is requestecl: <br />A 12 foot variance for front yard setback (code requires SOft, applicant shows 38$). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section, (1135.06 A). <br />Chairman Gomersall called all parties forward and reviewed the variances being requested. Mr. Leonard, <br />the architect came forward to present Mr. Zeager's requests. Mr. Gomersall reviewed that Mr. Zeager's <br />proposal had been tabled at the July 1, 1999, meeting because neither the architect nor the owner was <br />present to represent the proposal. He commented that a representative needed to be present as the board <br />might or may not have questions regarding the proposal. Mr. Leonard apologized and indicated that there <br />had been a misunderstanding as to who was to attend the meeting. Mr. Gomersall asked if there were any <br />questions from the board members. Mr. Koberna asked Mr. Leonard to identify the exact location of the <br />addition as the current plans showed two different locations. Mr. Leonard indicated that the owners had <br />first wanted to have a second garage but then decided to expand the existing garage which fronts Vincent <br />Drive thereby requiring the variance for the front yard setback. No further comments were made. <br />J. Maloney motioned to approve Terry Zeager of 23723 Vincent Dr. his request for variance (1123.12). <br />Which consists of expanding the existing garage and that the following variance be granted: <br />A 12 foot variance for front yard setback (code requires SOft, applicant shows 38ft). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section, (1135,06 A). The motion was seconded by J. Konold and <br />unanimously approved. Variance Granted , <br />2. 7oseph Repic: 23365 Marion Road: <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Proposal consists of a new garage. <br />The following variance is requested: 1) A 2 foot 6 inch variance for sideyard setback, (code requires Sft, applicant shows 2ft 6in). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section, (1135.07 A). <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties forward, and reviewed the variance requested. NIr. Repic, <br />the owner came fonward to review his request. Mr. Gomersall reviewed that the new garage would be <br />22'x24' is size and would be 15 feet from the rear property line and 2 feet 6 inches from the sideyard line. <br />He indicated that he had no questions and asked if there were any questions from the audience or other <br />board members. No further comments were made.
