REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF NIlNUTES: The Planning Commission minutes dated <br />August 22 and September 12, 2000 have been submitted for approval. <br />Chairinan R. Tallon motioned to approve the minutes dated August 22, 2000 as written. K. <br />O'Rourke seconded the motion. Roll call on the motion: Tallon, O'Rourke, Koeth, Hreha, <br />Asseff, Allan, and Spaldirig, "yes". Unanimously approved. <br />Chairman R. Roll call on the motion; Tallon, O'Rourke, Koeth, Hreha, Asseff, <br />Allan, and Spalding, "yes". Unanimously approved. III. BIJILDING DEPARTMENT REQUESTS: <br /> <br />1. Developers Diversified (Home Depot) New Building (Next to Tonv Roma's): PP# 235-27-001, <br />009, and 011: <br />Proposal consists of a 1,792 square foot addition to Home Depot. A new 5,400 square foot <br />building with parking and landscaping (next to Tony Roma's). Note: Variances will be required. <br />Mr. Gary Hough, development director for Developers Diversified, Ken Fisher, the company's <br />attorney, Dave Ports, from Ports Architecture, John Fredrickson and Sam Packard whom are <br />representing Home Depot came froward to review the proposal. Mr. Hough commented that <br />what they are proposing is a 5,400 square foot retail building to be located adjacent to the Tony <br />Roma's restaurant along Brookpark. Rd. or the north plaza of the shopping center. Also Home <br />Depot would come forward with a 1,792- square foot tool rental center. Together those would be <br />7,192 square feet to be added to the shopping center. The retail building itself will be 54 feet <br />wide by 100 feet deep, and again it is adjacent to the Tony Roma's building patio. The building <br />will meet the setbacks required by the city. Brookpark Rd. is a 75 foot setback, which the <br />building meets; the side setback would be 10 feet along the mall property: The building will be <br />located where the drive-through bank is today. The bank is to be demolished and they will build <br />over that area. They are proposing to add to the dumpster bay along Brookpark Rd., currently <br />the dumpsters for Tony Roma's and Chuckie Cheese are located in that dumpster bay, they will <br />add an additional bay to that so they can handle the trash pick up for this retail building: They
