ROLL CALL: <br />Chairman, Zergott called the meeting to order at 5:35pm. <br />PRESENT: Chairman, Zergott, Board members; M. Yager, K. Schulz, and T. Liggett. <br />ALSO PRESENT: Assistant Building Commissioner, T. Rymarczyk, Clerk of Commissions, D. <br />Rote, and Assistant Clerk of Commissions, S. Solomon. <br />II. REVIIEW AND CORRECTION OF NIIN[JTES: The Architectural Review Board minutes for <br />July 19,2000 have been submitted for approval. <br />Chairman Zergott asked if there were any corrections or additions to the July 19, 2000 minutes. <br />Mr. Yager indicated that page three line 12 stated "highly" instead of halide, which should be <br />corrected. <br />M. Yager motioned to approve the minutes once corrected. The motion was seconded by T. <br />Liggett and unanimously approved. <br />III. SIGNS: No Items. <br />IV. OLD BUSINESS: <br />1. Bennigan's Restaurant Bar & Grill; 4824 Great Northern Blvd. <br />Proposal consists of constnzction of a new Bennigans Restaurant. Note: Planning Commission <br />reviewed this proposal at their 9/12/00 meeting. <br />Chairman Zergott called all interested parties forward to review their proposal. Mr. Ames, the <br />Engineer for Bennigan's came forward to review the proposal. Mr. Ames indicated that there <br />were a couple of changes that Planning Commission requested and Bennigan's agreed too. There <br />will be brick from ground level to the bottom of the window ledge around the entire building. <br />Mr. Yager commented that he thought the brick would help the overall appearance of the <br />building. Mr. Ames continued, curb cuts one (1) and three (3) would be eliminated, as well as <br />parking spaces A, B, C, and D. The brick color will be a sandy burnt red. The Windows are <br />treated bronze, which will not turn color. The color of the doors will be mallard green. Above <br />the brick the material used will be a#108 beige E.F.I.S. The color of the flashing will be buff, <br />and the roofing is metal painted a copper color. Mr. Zergott questioned were the dock/dumpster <br />area would be located. Mr. Ames indicated that the dock/dumpster area is facing west towards <br />Sears Department store. The dock area is walled and will not be visible. Mr. Yager questioned <br />what type of gate would to be used. Mr. Ames suggested they could use cyclone or wood <br />whichever the board preferred. 1VIr. Zergott felt that a board on board fence would look the best <br />and requested it be painted the same color as the E.F.I.S. He questioned the starting and ending <br />points of the proposed trees. There should be more trees on the site, he is not sure who should be <br />planting them Sears or Bennigan's but more are needed. Discussion took place as to who would <br />plant the trees Mr. Zergott believed the mall planted poor trees, there were maple, and pines, <br />which were all different sizes and did not survive.
