ROLL CALL: <br />Vice Chairman, B. Lord called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. <br />PRESENT: Vice Chairman, B. Lord, Board members, L. VanAuken, P. Barker, C. Miller, G. <br />Corell, A. Smeraldi, K. O'Rourke and M. Gareau Jr. <br />ABSENT: Chairman, J. Lang <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF NIlNUTES: The minutes of the Landmarks Commission <br />meeting held on August 14, 2000 have been submitted for approval. <br />G. Corell motioned to approve the Landmarks meeting minutes dated August 14, 2000 as <br />written. The motion was seconded by C. Miller and unanimously approved, <br />III. NEW BUSIlVESS: <br />Agnes Ellis; 25197 Butternut Ridge Road <br />Proposal consists of replacing a roof. <br />B. Lord called all interested parties forward to review the request. Mr. Plank, the contractor <br />came forward to review the request. B. Lord commented to the board that this proposal has <br />been to tliis board a few times already. B. Lord took time to explain to Mr. Plank the <br />historical district of Butternut Ridge Rd. in North Olmsted. There were no further comments <br />or questions. <br />M. C'iareau Jr. motion to approve Agnes Ellis of 25197 Butternut Ridge Rd. as presented and <br />completed. The motion was seconded by P. Barker and unanimously approved. <br />Fred Biszantz with 7ohn Pettv from Sears: 26561 Butternut Rid e Road <br />Proposal consists of replacing existing siding on house. <br />B. Lord called all interested parties forward to review the request. John Petty, the <br />representative for Fred Biszantz, came forward to review the proposal. B. Lord questioned if <br />the whole house will be sided. John Petty replied yes, and the windows will remain the <br />same. B. Lord commented that the house was built in 1890 and it is in the Ohio Historic <br />Inventory. Mr. Petty commented that they will not be doing anything to the roof or gutters <br />either. K. O'Rourke questioned what color the house would be above the porch. Mr. Petty <br />replied all white. G. Corell questioned why the Metroscan printout reads Trustee in the <br />owners name section. M. Gareau Jr. replied that it means that the house is being held in <br />some sort of living trust, it could be an estate, but tliey're re-siding it so he doesn't think that <br />would be an issue. B. Lord questioned if the wood on the house is 4 inch siding and what it
