ROLL CALL: <br />Chairman Lord called the meeting .to order at 7: l Opm. <br />PRESENT: Chairman B. Lord, U. Corell, D. Lind, P. Barker, C. Kasler and K. O'Rourke. <br />ABSENT: A. Smeraldi, M. Davis and L. VanAuken. <br />ALSO PRESENT: J. Lana. <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />The Landinarks Commission minutes of the September 10, 2001 meeting have been submitted <br />for approval. <br />P. Barker indicated that on page one, the second from last line reads, "the one inch lap siding" <br />when it should read, "the one inch thick insulation". B. Lord indicated that there was a typo <br />about five lines above Mr. Barkers correction that reads, "those windows will stay they exact" <br />when it should read, "those windows will stay the exact". <br />P. Barker motioned to accept the Landmarks minutes dated September 10, 2001 as corrected. <br />The motion was seconded by G. Corell and unanimously approved. <br />III. NEW BUSINESS: <br />Chairman Lord indicated that there were no hearings for the board members tonight. She <br />questioned if anyone had any new business. She then suggested that her neighbor, Dan <br />Neiberdinj, would like to help the commission plan a welcome tour of Butternut, if not more <br />than that. Mrs. O'Rourke commented that Dan Balls son, Stan, supposedly had something like <br />this together and the board was supposed to get the C.D., which had the pictures on it. Mrs. <br />Lord made note of this. IV. COMMUNICATIONS: <br /> <br />Chairman Lord indicated that the annual report of the Alliance Review came in and everyone will <br />get a copy. The national preservation fund conference will be in Cleveland one year from now <br />on October 8 through the 13°i, <br />V. COIVIlVIITTEE REPORTS: <br />Chairman Lord indicated that the board put together a new plaque application process. The <br />board has revised it a few times. She commented that she put the final package together and <br />presented it to the board for their review. After reviewing the new package, the board decided <br />that they would try this out to see how well it would work. Mrs. Lord suggested taking <br />addresses of homes that deserve to be palqued.
