ROLL CALL: <br />Chairman, Maloney called the meeting to order at 7:45 p.m. <br />PRESENT: Chairman, J. Maloney, Board members, T. Koberna, J. Konold, W. Kremzar and T. Kelley <br />ALSO PRESENT: Law Director, M. Gareau, Building Commissioner, D. Conway and Clerk of <br />Commissions D. Rote <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINIJTES: The Board of Zoning Appeals minutes of January 24, <br />2001 have been submitted for review. <br />J. Konold motioned to approve the January 24, 2001 Board of Zoning Appeals minutes as submitted. <br />The motion was seconded by W. Kremzar and unanimously approved. <br />J. Maloney advised that each board member had viewed the premises involved for each case. Three votes <br />are required for approval. In addition each case will be judged on the physical situation peculiar to itself, <br />so that in no way is a judgment rendered considered to be a general policy judgment affecting properties <br />and like situations elsewhere. <br />III. BUILDING DEPARTMENT REQLTESTS: <br />l. Rainbow Dav Care; 24349 Lorain Rd. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). The proposal consists of installation of A/C equipment. The <br />following variance is requested: <br />1. A 6 foot (plus or ininus) variance for side yard set back (code requires 10 feet, applicant shows 4 <br />feet (plus or ininus). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section, 1139.07. <br />Chairman Maloney called al] interested parties forward to review the proposal. The oath was <br />administered to Mrs. Kopko, the architect from Mongello and Associates. Mrs. Kopko presented <br />colored plans to show the board members where the air condensers would be placed on the Uuilding. <br />She indicated that the condensers would be placed so that they would not be seen from the Lorain <br />Road. The nearest building is the Fire Station, which is 70 feet from the condensers. No further <br />coinments were made. <br />J. Konold motioned to grant Rainbow Day Care of 24349 Lorain Rd. their request for variance <br />(1123.12). Which consists- of installation of A/C equipment and that the following variance be <br />granted: A 6 foot (plus or minus) variance for side yard set back (code requires 10 feet, applicant <br />shows 4 feet (plus or minus). Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section, 1139.07. The motion was <br />seconded by W. Kremzar and unanimously approved. Variance Granted. <br />2. Litehouse I'ools; 25601 I,oa-ain IZd. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). The proposal consists of a building addition. <br />The following variances are requested: <br />1. A 28 foot 6 inch variance for building front set back (code requires 75 feet, applicant shows 46 <br />feet 6 inches), section (1139.07).
