OLD BUSINESS:
V. NEW BUSINESS:
Sprinwale Golf Course; 5871 Canterburv Rd.
Proposal consists of phase 42. (New Clubhouse) Planning Commission heard this proposal on
July 10, 2001. Architectural Review Board tabled this proposal on July 18, 2001.
Chairman Zergott called the architect forward to review the proposal. Richard Bauschard, the
architect with WTW, came forward to review the proposal. Mr. Bauschard apologized for not
being able to attend the last Architectural Review Board meeting in which this proposal was first
heard. He indicated that there were five or six items/concerns from the minutes of the last meeting
that he wanted to address. One was that there was no landscaping plan. Another had to do with
connecting the new construction with the old and the shapes in the background. Ms. Schulz added
that they wanted elevations, A.D.A., and material sheets. Mr. Bauschard explained that they could
start with the materials. He brought photographs of the existing construction and the newer toilet
room addition. They are going to be matching the brick on the A.D.A. addition and -the white
board siding and shingle will be an exact match as they come around the building. The existing
building establishes the color pallet as they are going to use the same materials so that the color
pallet of the new construction matches what is already on site. The A.D.A. issue has gone back
and forth on this project. The City met with individuals whom specialize in this thing and they
think they've worked out a solution. They are going to maintain the two different patio levels, but
they are going to install a lift somewhere on the interior so that all levels are 100% accessible.
That means they no longer have a need for the ramp on the outside because they will have
accessibility on all levels on the inside. The terrace seating will still be two different levels, one
]ower than the other so that people can see over the heads of those in front of them and see out to
the golf course. The lower level will be two feet below the higher level. Mr. Jenkins
