ROLL CALL: Vice Chairman Kremzar called the meeting to order at 7: 30 p.m. <br />PRESENT: Vice Chairman W. Kremzar and Board members J. Konold and N. Sergi. <br />ALSO PRESENT: Assistant Law Director B. O'Malley, Assistant Building Commissioner <br />T. Rymarczyk, and Clerk of Commissions D. Rote. ABSENT: Chairman J. Maloney and Board member T. Kelley <br />II, REVIIEW ANI) CORRECTION OF 1VIIIrTiTTES: <br />The Board of Zoning Appeals minutes of February 6, 2003 have been submitted for approval. <br />J. Konold motion to approve the minutes as submitted. W. Kremzar seconded the motion that was <br />unanimously approved. <br />Vice Chairman Kremzar indicated there are 3 cases requesting 9 variances. The Chairman advised <br />that the board members have viewed the premises involved for each case. Three votes are required <br />for approval. In addition each case will be judged on the physical situation peculiar to itself, so that <br />in no way is a judgment rendered considered to be a general policy judgment affecting properties <br />and like situations elsewhere. <br />M. BTTII,DING DEPART10'IENT REQiJES'd'S: <br />1). Hansel McNatt. 24200Mastick Road - WARD 4: <br />Request for variance (1123.12). The proposal consists of accessory structure. <br />The following variances are requested: <br />1. An 816 square foot variance for new accessory storage building (2% rear yard) (code permits <br />684 sq. ft., applicant shows 1500 sq. ft.), section (1135.02 (d) (1)). <br />2. A 3 foot 4 inch variance for new accessory storage building (height) (code permits 12' ht., <br />applicant shows 15' 4"), section (1135.02 (d) (3)). <br />Note: 2 existing sheds (10'x12' and 12'x12') in rear yard to be removed after completion of new <br />30x50 accessory storage building. <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 sections (1135.02 (d) (1)), and (1135.02 (d) (3)). <br />Vice Chairman Krernzar called all interested parties forward to review their request. Mr. 1VlcNatt <br />the owner came forward to be sworn in and review his request. 1VIr. McNatt reviewed that there <br />would be a 10-foot open patio in front of the 1200 square feet building that will be used as a shed <br />and hobby shop. 1VIr. Kremzar questioned why a bathroom was needed. Mre McNatt indicated <br />that due to health reasons he would be placing the bathroom near his work area. He would like to <br />get his cars in his garage as currently the garage is filled with tools and items that have been <br />inherited. Mr. Kremzar questioned the large size of the storage building. He also questioned if the <br />two existing sheds would be removed. 1VIr. 1VIclVatt indicated that they would be removed. One <br />would be removed before the work on the new shed starts. Mr. Rymarczyk indicated that the <br />building department did not have issues with the request. He questioned if the applicant could have <br />the existing sheds down within 30 days of completing the new building. <br />W. Kremzar motioned to approve Hansel McNatt of 24200 Mastick Road his request for <br />variance (1123.12). Which consists of an accessory structure and that the follovaing variances <br />are granted as amended. _
