CAUCUS <br />None called <br />U. ROLL CALL <br />Chairman Koeth called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br />PRESENT: Chairman R. Koeth, Board members W. Spalding, S. Hoff-Smith, C. Allan, M. <br />Yager. <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Planner K. Wenger, Assistant Law Director B. O'Malley, City <br />Engineer G. Durbin, Assistant Building Commissioner T. Rymarczyk and Clerk of <br />Commissions D. Rote. <br />ABSENT: Board members T. Hreha and J. Lasko <br />ffi. REVILEW ANI) CORRECTION OF MIIVUTES: <br />The Planning Commission minutes dated June 8, 2004 have been submitted for approval. <br />Chairman Koeth pointed out that there were a couple of clerical errors in the June 8, 2004 <br />minutes so the corrections would be made and the board would approve them at their next <br />meeting. <br />IV. COMMUNICATIONS <br />A fax was received from Form Architectural Group stating that the proposed Krispy Kreme <br />proposal would not be moving forward and requested they be removed from Planning <br />Commission docket permanently. <br />V. OLD BUSINESS <br />1. Krisqv Kreme Corp.; PP# 236-05-018: <br />PrOposal consists of demolishing existing (Mountain Jack Restaurant) building and erecting a <br />new building. <br />2. Woodqath Development Sign Lighting; Gessner & Wooduath Road: <br />The proposal is to install lighting to illuminate an existing "Woodpath" sign for Woodpath <br />Home Owner's Association of Westlake. The sign is located on property owned by the City <br />of North Olmsted at the intersection of Woodpath Trail and Gessner. <br />Chairman Koeth called all interested parties forward to review the request and asked for the <br />department reports. Ms. Wierda a member of the garden club committee came forward to <br />address the board. The garden club would like to illuminate the ground sign so that it matches <br />the entrance sign at Gessner and Canterbury. City Engineer Durbin indicated that a registered <br />engineer submitted plans for the proposed electrical line to illuminate the existing ground <br />sign. He indicated that the Service Director has will no objections to the plan. Mr. O'Malley <br />indicated that the proposal was not inconsistent from the license that was granted. The board <br />' 1
