CAUCUS <br />Councils rear caucus room @ 7:15 p.m. <br />H. ROLL CALL <br />Chairman Koeth called the meeting to order at 7:45 p.m. <br />PRESENT: Chairman R. Koeth, Board members; W. Spalding, S. Hoff-Smith, J. Lasko, <br />and M. Yager. <br />ALSO PRESENT: Assistant Law Director B. O'Malley, Planning Director K. Wenger, <br />Assistant Building Commissioner T. Rymarczyk and Clerk of Commissions D. Rote. <br />ABSENT: Board members; C. Allan and T. Hreha. <br />III. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />IV. COMMIT1vICATIONS <br />Chairman Koeth advised that the Commission would address new business first. <br />V. NEW BUSINESS <br />Consolidation Plat for Ascension Lutheran Church; 28081 Lorain Road: <br />The proposal is to consolidate Permanent Parcel Numbers 235-07-003 (1.58 acres), 235-07- <br />004 (approximately 1.0 acre), 235-07-005 (0.46 acre) and 235-07-008 (approximately 0.2 <br />acre) into one parcel. The consolidated parcel will be 2.98 acres. The location is on the <br />south side of Lorain Road and approximately 400 feet east of MacKenzie Road. Zoning for <br />the portions of Permanent Parcel Numbers 235-07-003 through 235-07-005 within 500 feet <br />of the centerline of Lorain Road is Retail Business, General. Zoning for the remaining <br />portions of these parcels and for Permanent Parcel Number 235-07-008 is B, Residence <br />Single. <br />Mr. Koeth reviewed the request of the proposal Mr. Ibos with church. Director's reports: <br />Ms. Wenger voiced no abjections to consolidating the parcels and voiced that the City <br />would prefer the Church be under one parcel. Mr. Durbin reviewed that the rear portion of <br />land is within the 100 year flood plain. Applicants would like to consolidate the parcels so <br />that they can address security issues on the lot. They plan to make improvements to the <br />parking lot with additional lighting. The board had no objections to the lot consolidation. <br />R. Koeth moved to approve the consolidation Plat for Ascension Lutheran Church of <br />28081 Lorain Road as written. S. Hoff-Smith seconded the motion which was <br />unanimously approved. <br />VI.
