<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />NORTH OLMSTED PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION MEETING <br /> <br />FEBRUARY 21, 2000 <br /> <br /> <br />Meeting called to order: 7:15 p.m. <br /> <br />Attendance: Claire Hayes, Chairman <br /> Tim Smith, Vice-Chairman <br /> Tom Jenkins, Safety Director <br /> Duane Limpert, City Council Member <br /> Debbie Adams, Member <br /> Todd Morgan, Commissioner <br /> Dave Gardner, Member <br /> Judith Ptacek, Secretary <br /> <br />Absent: Rich Scott, Member <br /> <br />Visitors: None <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes: <br /> <br />Mrs. Hayes asked the members to review the minutes of the last meeting of January 10, 2000. <br />A motion was made, seconded and passed unanimously to accept the minutes with observations <br />that Carolyn Kasler has been replaced by Duane Limpert as City Council member; that Debbie <br />“Addams” be corrected to “Adams”; and that it be noted that Ms. Adams was unaware of the <br />meeting. A Motion was made, seconded and unanimously passed to accept these changes. <br /> <br />Report by Commissioner: <br /> <br />Mr. Morgan began by reporting the video presentation given to the cashiers in the ticket booth for <br />telephone training and stating that four of the cashiers would be attending a Seminar for more <br />effective operation of the front desk. The new phone system will be in place soon. The <br />bookkeeper will be doing the tracking for the new computerized time clock in the near future. <br /> <br />There was a brief overview of the in-house meeting for building supervisors regarding <br />cleanliness of the building and supervision of part-time staff. The schedules of the part-time <br />staff in the evening will be checked more closely. Lifeguard supervisors, for example, will be <br />better observed. Mr. Gardner asked if there were union disciplinary procedures. Mr. Morgan <br /> <br />
