Concerning the section
of the park where they hold the Memorial Day service, Ms. Hamlin would like to show
her appreciation to the City for all the fond memories the park has given her family by
donating a bench in memory of her husband John, a veteran, who passed away in August.
She would like it placed on the far southern end facing the soccer and baseball fields by
the picnic table. A motion was made to approve the donation of a bench for John Hamlin,
motion seconded and approved by all.
