CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION INDEX FOR 2005 MEETINGS JANUARY 24, 2005 M. Ubaldi made a motion to approve the corrected version of the November 29, 2004 minutes as submitted by Mrs. Farver and Mrs. Kilbane. The motion was seconded by W. Hohmann and unanimously approved. R. Giesser made a motion to have the Civil Service secretary respond to the requests and quote the Civil Service rules precisely and explain there are no provisions to grant an extension. The motion was seconded by M. Ubaldi. Roll call on the motion: R. Giesser; yes, M. Ubaldi; yes, and W. Hohmann; no. Motion Carried. R. Giesser made a motion to accept the budget for 2005 as submitted by C. Farver, in the amount of $35,213.00. The motion was seconded by M. Ubaldi and unanimously approved. FEBRUARY 28, 2005 R. Giesser made a motion to approve the minutes as submitted. The motion was seconded by M. Ubaldi and unanimously approved. W. Hohmann made a motion to elect Mrs. Giesser the Chairperson and Mr. Ubaldi the Vice Chairman. The motion was seconded by M. Ubaldi and unanimously approved. R. Giesser made a motion that the position of Clerk of Commissions is to be considered classified/competitive and the position of Assistant Clerk of Commissions also will be considered classified/competitive. The motion was seconded by W. Hohmann and unanimously approved. R. Giesser made a motion to remove from the eligible list the names of those people who did not, by the due date, submit certificates to the Commission proving they had passed the Tri -C agility test (list attached to the minutes). The motion was seconded by M. Ubaldi and unanimously approved. R. Giesser made a motion to accordingly adjust the eligible list and accept that list as adjusted and the top five names on that list will be sent to the Police Chief. The motion was seconded by W. Hohmann and unanimously approved. MARCH 21, 2005 R. Giesser made a motion to approve the minutes as submitted. The motion was seconded by M. Ubaldi and unanimously approved. APRIL 18, 2005 R. Giesser made a motion to approve the minutes as submitted. The motion was seconded by M. Ubaldi and unanimously approved.
