CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MEETING CITY COUNCIL CAUCUS ROOM MINUTES - SEPTEMBER 18, 2017 7:00 P.M. I. ROLL CALL: Chairman W. Brake called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. PRESENT: W. Brake, T. Smith and M. Kelly ALSO PRESENT: Human Resources Director M. Gallo, Asst. Law Director B. O'Malley, Safety Director D. Glauner and Civil Service Secretary S. Berkley II. DISPOSITION OF MINUTES: Motion by Commissioner Smith, seconded by Commissioner Kelly, that the minutes of the August 21, 2017 meeting be approved as received. Motioned passed unanimously. III. COMMUNICATIONS: There were 36 items of correspondence received and 67 item of correspondence sent out by the Civil Service Commission. IV. OLD BUSINESS: Entry -Level Patrol Officer Eligible List Motion by Chairman Brake, seconded by Commissioner Smith, to remove the following name from the Entry -Level Patrol Officer Eligible List due to receiving a voluntary removal letter pursuant to Rule VII, Section 10: Ricky Crumbley. Motion passed unanimously. Motion by Chairman Brake, seconded by Commissioner Smith, to remove the following names from the Entry -Level Patrol Officer Eligible List pursuant to Rule VII, Section 9 (i): Craig Beese,� Marc Ineman, Samantha Troesch, Kevin Vu, Amanda Myers, Jeffrey Freels, Marlin Broner, and Beau Mabe. Motion passed unanimously. Motion by Chairman Brake, seconded by Commissioner Smith, to certify the following names on the Entry -Level Patrol Officer Eligible List: Geoffrey Walter, Brent Robinson, Luke Petrie, - Matthew Bambauer, Jack Grasso, Joseph Koenigsmark, Craig Ludrowsky, Nicklas Gorbulija, and Jason Ballachino and to amend the Entry -Level Patrol Officer Eligible List. Motion passed unanimously. Entry -Level Firefighter/Paramedic Eligible List Motion by Commissioner Smith, seconded by Commissioner Kelly, to remove the following name from the Entry -Level Firefighter/Paramedic List due to receiving a voluntary removal letter pursuant to Rule VII, Section 10: Seth Robinson. Motion passed unanimously.
