CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MEETING <br />MINUTES - APRIL 19, 2021 <br />7:00 P.M. <br />ROLL CALL: Chairman W. Brake called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />PRESENT: W. Brake and A. Campbell <br />ALSO PRESENT: Human Resources Director M. Gallo, Asst. Law Director B. O'Malley, <br />Mayor K. Kennedy, Police Chief R. Wagner and Civil Service Secretary S. <br />Freeland <br />11. DISPOSITION OF MINUTES: <br />Motion by Commissioner Brake, seconded by Commissioner Campbell, that the minutes of the <br />March 15, 2021 meeting be approved as received. <br />Motioned passed unanimously. <br />111. COMMUNICATIONS: <br />'There were 54 items of correspondence received and 5 items of correspondence sent out by the <br />Civil Service Commission. <br />1V. OLD BUSINESS: <br />V. NEW BUSINESS: <br />Entry -Level Police Exam Results/Certify List <br />The Commission reviewed the Entry-t,evel Police I"xamination Results and the Eligible List. <br />Motion by Commissioner Brake, seconded by Commissioner Campbell, to accept the results of the <br />Entry -Level Police Exam and to certify the top twelve (12) names on the l ntry-Level Police <br />Eligible List pursuant to Rule V111, Section l (a)(i)(a). <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />Police Lateral Results/Certify <br />The Commission reviewed the Police Lateral Results and the Eligible List and discussion <br />commenced regarding how many vacancies there are and how many candidates can be chosen from <br />each list. <br />Motion by Commissioner Brake, seconded by Commissioner Campbel I to accept the results of the <br />Police Lateral List and to certify the top thirty (30) names on the Police Lateral Eligible List and for <br />Administration to draw from at their discretion. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />
