Assistant Law Director Brvan O'Malley. <br />Administrative Assistant Lyn Wilson <br />MEETING MINUTES <br />The meeting minutes of August 23"d, September 271". October 1 I `h. October 25`h 2023. and <br />January 24`h, 2024 were submitted for approval. Mr. David moved to approve the minutes as <br />written/as amended. All in favor. none opposed. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />23689-P010-1; Woodland Grove; 5606 Barton Road <br />1. Proposal consists of a new housing project planned for the area behind 5606 Barton Road <br />2. Subdivision of parcel 233-07-009 into 10 parcels <br />Representative: Jim Schilens from ETS Engineer Technical Solutions of Westlake. Brett Smith <br />of Redding Ohio <br />Mr. Schilens requested approval for the submitted plan. contingent on the completed traffic study <br />and additional survey information extending beyond the property on Barton, both north and <br />south. He mentioned new information received after the initial submittal aligning with city <br />requirements. Questions were welcomed, emphasizing the current aim for project approval. <br />Mr., Filarski's report outlined the subdivision proposal. dividing one land parcel into 10 <br />individual ones for the construction of 14 units. including single and duplex units. all single - <br />story. Engineering aspects were reviewed. and the applicant addressed some missing comments. <br />with more details expected in the subsequent engineering review The recommendation for <br />approval was made. contingent on the final engineering assessment. considering city <br />requirements for utilities, drainage, and road specifications. Notably. adjustments were made to <br />the plan due to fire department requests. removing a planting area in the cul-de-sac for better <br />turning space. Additionally, it was emphasized that the development would be privies. managed <br />by an association for maintenance including plowing and rubbish removal. <br />Mr. Upton reported on a year -and -a -half long project. focusing on a new housing development <br />for the 55+ market. Collaborating with Mr. Schilens, they aimed to find a suitable configuration. <br />Attempts were made for a shared driveway with the Condo Association next door. but access <br />was not granted, leading to separate driveways.
