Resolution No. 2005 -144 <br />SECTION 2: That this Council does, in accordance with the rules and requirements for <br />CDBG applications, in order to satisfy any and all prerequisites to qualify same, hereby authorize <br />and direct the Director of Planning to coordinate with the Director of Human Resources, Director <br />of Public Safety and the Director of Public Service, as may be necessary, to insure that the City's <br />program meets or exceeds CDBG application standards, and that the latter Directors provide any <br />and all necessary information and assistance to the Director of Planning in establishing, <br />documenting, and fulfilling the CDBG application requirements. <br />SECTION 3: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety, and welfare, and for the <br />further reason it is necessary that this legislation go into effect immediately in order that the City <br />may make a timely application for Community Development Block Grant funds on or before <br />November 18, 2005, and further, provided it receives the affirmative vote of two- thirds of all <br />members of the Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and <br />approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED : OCR 1 <br />First Reading: 1.0141,01- <br />Second Reading: /d s' p 1' <br />Third Reading: <br />Committee: �u�w <br />ATT <br />ARBARA L.
