M <br />Ordinance No. 2005 -105 <br />Page 2 <br />one (1) full -time Zoning Inspector, one part-time Building Inspector, one (1) full -time Electrical <br />Inspector, one (1) part-time back -up Electrical Inspector, one (1) full -time Plumbing Inspector, one <br />(1) part-time back -up Plumbing Inspector, one (1) full -time Property Maintenance Inspector, and one <br />(1) seasonal Property Maintenance Inspector. <br />C. The Building Commissioner shall also be in charge of the General Clerical staff <br />consisting of one (1) Secretary I to the Commissioner, two (2) clerical workers designated by <br />ordinance as Secretary II's, one (1) part-time clerical position, and one (1) CBE student position." <br />BE AMENDED, AND, AS AMENDED, SHALL READ AS FOLLOWS: <br />"A. The Organizational Chart for the Building Division and the personnel set forth in the <br />Organizational Chart shall consist of the Building Commissioner, who shall be in charge of the entire <br />Building Division, and the other officials and employees set forth in paragraphs B and C. <br />B. The Building Commissioner shall also be in charge of the Inspection Personnel, which <br />shall consist of one (1) Assistant Building Commissioner, four (4) full -time Building Inspectors, <br />one (1) full -time Zoning Inspector, one part-time Building Inspector, one (1) full -time Electrical <br />Inspector, one (1) part-time back -up Electrical Inspector, one (1) full -time Plumbing Inspector, one <br />(1) part-time back -up Plumbing Inspector, one (1) full -time Property Maintenance Inspector, and one <br />(1) seasonal part -time Property Maintenance Inspector. <br />C. The Building Commissioner shall also be in charge of the General Clerical staff <br />consisting of one (1) Secretary I to the Commissioner, two (2) clerical workers designated by <br />ordinance as Secretary II's, one (1) part-time clerical position, and one (1) CBE student position." <br />SECTION 2: That all Ordinances or resolutions or parts of ordinances or resolutions that <br />are in conflict or inconsistent with this Ordinance are, to the extent of such conflict or inconsistency, <br />hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for the further <br />reason that it is necessary that this legislation go into effect immediately so that the City, by <br />continuing to employ said new property maintenance code inspector, is not in violation of State labor <br />law, and further provided that it receives the affirmative vote of two- thirds of all members of <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: T 6,9 S` <br />First Reading: <br />Second Reading: <br />Third Reading: <br />Committee: <br />
