Spreng Middough Consulting Inc. (Midd) <br />Geoffrey Keehn Middough Consulting <br />Purpose: Project Development Meeting <br />Middough Project No. CN00401 <br />1. ONO noted that they would like to proceed with the contract drawings ASAP. ONO stated the new <br />spaces needed to be ready for occupancy by February 1, 2006. The Law Department is currently off- <br />campus will be moving out of a rented space. The bidding process is estimated to take about 4 <br />weeks. <br />2. ONO selected Scheme "H" as identified in the June 7 email sent from Midd to Kim Wenger of ONO. <br />3. The upper level plan selected will be as indicated on the June 8, 2005 email from Kim Wenger to Roy <br />Spreng. The infili over the new foyer and lobby will be a new Caucus Room. <br />4. Following are preferences mentioned by ONO to Midd during the meeting: <br />a. The wall between the upper lobby and the Caucus Room to be a partial height wall with glass <br />in the upper portion of the wall. Wall height to be determined by CNO. <br />b. There will be one single automatic sliding glass door on both the north and south sides of the <br />new addition. The existing interior pair of doors between the foyer and the lobby will be <br />replaced with a pair of automatic sliding glass doors. No keycard access will be required. <br />c. New curb cuts and ramps will be added on the exterior of the building on the north and south <br />sides of the new addition. Masonry posts and metal railing will be placed on the parking lot <br />side of the concrete ramp /walkway. <br />d. New materials to match existing. The new flooring in the foyer to be a material that is tready <br />and low maintenance. Midd to prepare sketches of proposed color selection for the exterior <br />building materials. Signage on doors by the city. Cabinetry to be added to the Caucus Room <br />on the north wall. All new glass for the entrance to be Low -E insulated clear glass. <br />e. Provide a window to match the existing style in the council clerk's office. <br />f. Provide a "dummy" window" in the MIS room. <br />g. Snow guards are to be added to the roof of the addition. An alternate is to be submitted for a <br />snowmelt system for the roof over the addition. <br />h. No decision has been made on who will provide window coverings for the Caucus Room. <br />Midd will not include this item in the scope of work'. <br />I. ONO would like ideas from Midd on the lighting of the exterior of the building and the ramps <br />leading up to the entry doors. <br />j. Door hardware to match the existing city keying standards and master key system (Best). No <br />cardkey, magnetic lock will be required on any of the doors. No special security wiring to any <br />of the doors. Brushed stainless steel finish. <br />k. The parking lot will remain as is and is not a part of this project. <br />1. Contractor to provide temporary barriers to protect the building site from entry by non- <br />construction personnel and for dust control.
