(3) Residential nursing home, provided that such use is planned and approved <br />in conjunction with independent and assisted dwelling units as are <br />permitted under subsections (1) and (2) hereof; <br />(4) The following accessory uses which are immediately and exclusively <br />accessory to the uses permitted on the site; necessary for the comfort, <br />convenience and primary use of residents, employees and visitors in the <br />permitted buildings; and only as approved as appropriate accessory uses <br />by the Planning Commission and confirmed by Council: <br />A. Medical care facilities exclusively for the residents of the <br />development <br />B. Meeting and/or social rooms or areas <br />C. Dining facilities, restaurant and /or coffee shop for the use of <br />residents, staff and guests <br />D. Indoor and /or outdoor recreational facilities <br />E. Beauty parlor and /or barber shop <br />F. Gift shop and /or newspaper stand <br />(5) The following other accessory uses immediately and exclusively <br />accessory to a use permitted on the site: <br />A. Automobile parking facilities <br />B. Maintenance facilities <br />1138.04 DEVELOPMENT CRITERIA <br />The following development criteria are established to guide and control the development <br />and use of land for housing designed for the elderly in a Senior Residence District: <br />(a) Ancillary Facilities. All developments designed for senior citizens shall contain <br />the following ancillary facilities: a multipurpose senior center, health and <br />counseling offices as required and permitted by the state of Ohio, craft and <br />meeting rooms, a lounge area, areas for passive and active recreation and any and <br />all other amenities required in buildings for senior citizens in new construction <br />designed for senior citizens. <br />(b) Special Safety and Convenience Features. All multifamily housing designed for <br />senior citizens shall include any and all other special safety and convenience <br />features required in buildings qualifying for housing assistance for senior citizens <br />in new construction designed for senior citizens. <br />(c) Accessory r'„-,,. teye:^' Uses.
