WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Participating Cities to accept the contribution <br />of said computer and dispatch equipment, and mobile radio equipment, and to <br />acknowledge that such contribution will satisfy the obligation of the City of North <br />Olmsted, pursuant to said Paragraph 5 of the Cooperation Agreement, to contribute a pro <br />rata share of the operating costs of the fire dispatch center for the first two years of the <br />center's operation; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the covenants herein contained, it is <br />hereby supplementally agreed by and between the Participating Cities and WCOG as <br />follows: <br />1. The City of North Olmsted shall contribute to the West Shore Council of <br />Governments, and/or to the Participating Cities, certain computer and dispatch <br />equipment, and mobile radio equipment, purchased from a FEMA grant and matching <br />City of North Olmsted funds, in the total approximate amount of Three Hundred Fifty <br />Thousand Dollars ($350,000.00), to enable the Participating Cities to place GPS locators <br />in fire emergency vehicles; <br />2. WCOG and the Participating Cities agree that the said contribution of <br />equipment by the City of North Olmsted shall satisfy the obligation of the City of North <br />Olmsted, pursuant to Paragraph 5 of the Cooperative Agreement, to pay a pro rata share <br />of the operating costs of the fire dispatch center for the first two years of the center's <br />operations; <br />3. This Supplement to Agreement may be executed in multiple counterparts and <br />shall be effective when such counterparts are executed by and delivered to all <br />2 <br />
