B. Plan Development <br />Once the existing conditions and facility inventory are completed, the Recreation Plan <br />should include an action plan for future maintenance, improvements, and expansion <br />of the City's recreational facilities. <br />Minimum Required Work Elements <br />L Visioning. The Consultant shall assist the City establish vision and goals from the <br />information gathered in the initial phase, with consideration and input from all <br />recreation providers and users in the community. <br />2. Facility Plan. The Consultant shall prepare a long -range facilities plan. <br />3. Conceptual Design. The Consultant shall provide conceptual designs of proposed <br />improvements. <br />C. Plan Implementation <br />Following plan development, an effective implementation strategy is critical to ensure <br />the Recreation Plan becomes the basis for decisions regarding park and recreation <br />improvements. <br />Minimum Required Work Elements <br />1. Maintenance, improvement costs, and financing. The Consultant shall provide <br />the City with information related to facility maintenance, estimated improvement <br />costs, and financing options as they pursue recreation improvements. <br />2. Prioritization. The Consultant shall assist the City in prioritizing the <br />recommendations of the facilities plan. <br />7. PROJECT BUDGET <br />The Consultant shall provide a "not to exceed" fee for each of the phases (A, B & C) described <br />in Section 6 of this RFP. This fee shall include all costs, including but not limited to meetings, <br />mileage, reproduction, administration, etc. With regard to meetings, the proposal shall include a <br />breakdown of the number of meetings allocated for the staff, advisory committee, and /or the <br />public. <br />S. PROJECT SCHEDULE <br />The Consultant should provide a calendar detailing projected time frames for each of the phases <br />(A, B & C) described in Section 6. <br />
