_ _.,.., -_ a �.M...u�e�•+^x :Yy�ei�.w. r .F ^ -�^-+ c•s4>•� ry r, n.J4o`:s� u5 .rasa a�..rvr u._ -a...r u •.. - <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2005 -83 <br />BY: Mayor O'Grady <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE RANGE OF COMPENSATION RATES AND SALARY <br />RANGES FOR THE VARIOUS ADMINISTRATIVE AND LEGISLATIVE PERSONNEL, IN <br />ORDER TO PROVIDE FOR THE NEWLY CREATED FULL -TIME POSITION IN THE <br />PERSONNEL AND ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES DEPARTMENT ENTITLED <br />"EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST" AND TO CLARIFY THE EXISTENCE OF THE FULL -TIME <br />SECRETARY POSITION IN SAID DEPARTMENT; AND TO CHANGE THE SALARY RANGE <br />FOR THE OFFICE OF DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES, OTHERWISE RE- STATING THE <br />COMPENSATION RATE RANGES FOR SAID VARIOUS ADMINISTRATIVE AND <br />LEGISLATIVE PERSONNEL FOR THE YEARS 2004 THROUGH 2007, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2004 -164, adopted by this Council on December 21, 2004, as thereafter <br />amended from time to time, established the compensation rate ranges and benefits for the City's various <br />administrative and legislative personnel for the years 2004 through 2007; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to establish a compensation rate range for the newly created <br />non - bargaining unit full -time position in the Department of Personnel and Administrative Services <br />entitled `Employment Specialist;" to change the salary range for the office of the Director of Human <br />Resources; and to otherwise re- establish all of the existing compensation rate ranges for the City's non- <br />bargaining unit administrative and legislative personnel for the years 2004 through 2007, as established by <br />Ordinance No. 2004 -164, as amended from time to time; and <br />WHEREAS, it is accordingly necessary to amend Sections 1, 9 and 11 of Ordinance No. 2004 -164, as <br />most recently amended, in order to establish said compensation rate range for the newly established <br />position in the Department of Personnel and Administrative Services, to clarify the compensation rate <br />range for an existing position within said Department, and to change the salary range for the office of the <br />Director of Human Resources; and <br />WHEREAS, Sections 1, 9 and 11 of Ordinance No. 2004 -164, as last amended, presently reads as <br />follows: <br />Section 1: That the following salary ranges are hereby established for administrative and legislative <br />personnel of the City of North Olmsted.
