Resolution No. 2005 -57 <br />SECTION 2: That the City of North Olmsted hereby petitions the U.S. Congress and the <br />Bush Administration to recognize the outstanding work being done locally and nationally by the <br />CDBG Program and its vital importance to the community and its people. <br />SECTION 3: That the Clerk of Council is hereby authorized and directed to forward fully <br />executed and attested copies of this Resolution to the President of the United States, to each of the <br />Senators and Congressmen in the State of Ohio, and to all the suburban communities in Cuyahoga <br />County, Ohio. <br />SECTION 4: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for the further <br />reason that it is necessary that this legislation go into effect immediately in order to adopt and <br />transmit to the government officials mentioned above to make them aware of the concerns of the <br />Council of the City of North Olmsted regarding the proposed program cuts, and further provided that <br />it receives the affirmative vote of two- thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be <br />in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />I <br />A <br />ARA L.
