CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 2005 -56 BY: Mayor O'Grady AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE RANGE OF COMPENSATION RATES AND SALARY RANGES FOR THE VARIOUS ADMINISTRATIVE AND LEGISLATIVE PERSONNEL, IN ORDER TO ESTABLISH A RANGE OF COMPENSATION FOR THE NEWLY CREATED SEASONAL POSITION IN THE DIVISION OF BODING ENTITLED "PROPERTY MAINTENANCE INSPECTOR;" OTHERWISE RE- STATING THE COMPENSATION RATE RANGES FOR SAID VARIOUS ADMINISTRATIVE AND LEGISLATIVE PERSONNEL FOR THE YEARS 2004 THROUGH 2007 AS ESTABLISHED IN THE MOST RECENT AMENDMENT TO THE SALARY RANGE ORDINANCE, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2004 -164, adopted by this Council on December 21, 2004, as thereafter amended from time to time, established the compensation rate ranges and benefits for the City's various administrative and legislative personnel for the years 2004 through 2007; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to establish a compensate rate range for the newly created non - bargaining unit seasonal position in the Division of Building entitled "Property Maintenance Inspector," and to otherwise re- establish all of the existing compensation rate ranges for the City's non - bargaining unit administrative and legislative personnel for the year 2004 through 2007, as established by Ordinance No. 2004 -164, as amended from time to time; and WHEREAS, it is accordingly necessary to amend Section 8 of Ordinance No. 2004 -164, as it most recently amended, in order to establish said compensation rate range for the newly established position in the Division of Springvale; and WHEREAS, Section 8 of Ordinance No. 2004 -164 presently reads as follows: Section 8: That the following salary ranges are hereby established for various employees of the Building Department. The salaries in this Section shall be determined by the Director of Safety and the Mayor as appropriate. FROM TO Pay 2004 2005 2006 2007 Type A.
