PRELIMINARY <br />RC 5521.01 <br />ORDINANCE No. <br />PID No. <br />CTY- RTE -SEC <br />BY: Mayor Musial <br />2004 -138 <br />75516 <br />CUY- 252-0.00/4.18 <br />The following is an ordinance enacted by the City of North Olmsted, Cuyahoga County, <br />Ohio, hereinafter referred to as the Local Public Agency (LPA), in the matter of the stated <br />described project (Improvement of Great Northern Boulevard from Butternut Ridge Road to <br />Country Club Boulevard), and declaring an emergency. <br />SECTION I - Project Description <br />WHEREAS, the STATE has identified the need for the described project: <br />Improve the riding quality of Great Northern Boulevard (SR -252) <br />from Butternut Ridge Road to Country Club Boulevard a distance of <br />0.36 mile more or less in the City of North Olmsted. This work is <br />part of a larger ODOT project that involves the resurfacing of <br />Columbia Road in the City of North Olmsted, the City of Olmsted <br />Falls and Olmsted Township. <br />NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />SECTION II - Consent Statement <br />Being in the public interest, the LPA gives consent to the Director of Transportation to complete the <br />above described project. <br />SECTION III - Cooperation Statement <br />The LPA shall cooperate with the Director of Transportation in the above described project as <br />follows: <br />The LPA agrees to assume and contribute twenty percent (20 %) of <br />the cost and expense of the construction phase of this improvement <br />determined to be eligible for State Highway Funds. <br />The LPA further agrees to pay One Hundred Percent (100 %) of the <br />cost of those features requested by the LPA which are determined by <br />the State and Federal Highway Administration to be unnecessary for <br />the Project. <br />The LPA further agrees to pay One Hundred Percent (100 %) of the <br />cost to install and /or repair curb ramps at all necessary intersections <br />to ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. <br />
