Ordinance No. 2005 -19 <br />Page 2 <br />SECTION 2: That all non - bargaining unit employees participating in any of the <br />individual or family plans established by the Employee Health Care Committee shall <br />contribute a monthly amount toward the premiums for his or her selected plan or plans <br />equal to the amount for such plan or plans most recently established by the Employee <br />Health Care Committee. Said monthly employee contributions shall be withheld by <br />payroll deduction not later than the first pay period of each month. <br />SECTION 3: That the Director of Finance is hereby ordered and directed to <br />make the necessary payroll deductions to accomplish the provisions of this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 4: That all ordinances or resolutions, or parts of ordinances or <br />resolutions inconsistent or in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed to the <br />extent of any such inconsistency or conflict. <br />SECTION 5: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and <br />welfare, and for the further reason that it is necessary for this Ordinance to go into effect <br />immediately so that non - bargaining unit employees may participate with bargaining unit <br />employees in open enrollment for the newly revised plans in the month of March, and <br />further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two- thirds of all members of Council, <br />it shall take effect and be in force upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: First Reading: 0s' <br />Second Reading: <br />Third Reading: <br />Committee: <br />ATTTj ST: <br />v <br />'BARBARA L.
