Ordinance No. 2005 -15 <br />SECTION 2: That the Mayor be and he hereby is authorized, upon approval of <br />the Board of Control, to enter into an agreement with the examiners selected in the RFP <br />process. Said agreement shall be in a form and substance that is not substantially adverse <br />to the City and which is approved by the Director of Law. The character of any such <br />changes as not being substantially adverse to the City shall be evidenced conclusively by <br />the execution of the agreement by the Mayor and the approval of the agreement by the <br />Director of Law. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare <br />of this City, and for the further reason that this Ordinance is required to be immediately <br />effective to enable the City to complete the RFP process prior to the June 28, 2005 <br />expiration of the current contract for plans examiner and back -up plans examiner <br />services; and further provided that it receives the affirmative vote of two - thirds of all <br />members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and <br />approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTTEST: <br />BRBARA L.
