. . ? <br />? <br />Section 16: That the following salary ranges are hereby established for various employees of the Park and <br />Recreation Department. The salaries in this Section shall be determined by the Director of Community Life <br />Services and the Mayor as appropriate. <br /> FROM TO Pay <br /> 2008 Type <br />A. Part-Time employees) <br />Section 17: That all pay ranges and amounts established will be effective no earlier than January 1st of the <br />respective year. Salaries specified in this Ordinance shall be paid by the Director of Finance on a biweekly <br />basis. <br />Section 18: That, upon approval of the Mayor or respective Director, all full-time personnel listed within this <br />Ordinance, except for those holding Elected or Director positions, the Police Chief, the Fire Chief, and <br />personnel determined by the City to be exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act <br />("FLSA"), will be paid time and one-half their straight time rates of pay for hours worked in excess of forty (40) <br />hours in one work week, unless the Mayor or their respective Director has established and implemented a <br />compensatory time ("comp time") policy for such personnel that is not in conflict with either the FLSA or <br />Section 161.13 of the Administrative Code. Double time, or comp time if applicable, shall be paid to said <br />personnel for Sundays and Holidays provided they have worked at least forty (40) hours in the said work <br />week. <br />Section 19: That all full-time personnel listed within this Ordinance, who were hired by the City prior to <br />January 1, 2005, having completed five (5) years of full-time service as an employee of the City shall be paid <br />an additional four percent (4%) of their base annual salary thereafter as longevity increments until completion <br />of their tenth (10th) year of full-time service; after completion of their tenth (10th) year of full-time service, such <br />personnel shall receive five percent (5%) of their base annual salary thereafter as longevity increments until <br />completion of their fifteenth (15th) year of full-time service; after completion of their fifteenth (15th) year of full- <br />time service, such personnel shall receive six percent (6%) of their base annual salary thereafter as longevity <br />increments until completion of their twentieth (20th) year of full-time service; and after completion of their <br />twentieth (20th) year of full-time service, such personnel shall receive seven percent (7°/o) of their base annual <br />salary thereafter as longevity increments for so long as they continue to be full-time employees of the City. <br />All full-time personnel listed within this Ordinance, who are hired by the City on or after January 1, 2005, <br />having completed five (5) years of full-time service as an employee of the City shall be paid an additional six <br />hundred dollars ($600.00) as annual longevity increments thereafter until completion of their tenth (10th) year <br />of full-time service; after completion of their tenth (10th) year of full-time service, such personnel shall receive <br />one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) as annual longevity increments thereafter until completion of their fifteenth <br />(i 5th) year of full-time service; after completion of their fifteenth (15th) year of full-time service, such <br />personnel shall receive one thousand three hundred dollars ($1,300.00) as annual longevity increments <br />thereafter until completion of their twentieth (20th) year of full-time service; after completion of their twentieth <br />(20th) year of full-time service, such personnel shall receive one thousand seven hundred dollars ($1,700.00) <br />as annual longevity increments thereafter for so long as they continue to be full-time employees of the City. <br />Section 20: That all full-time personnel listed within this Ordinance shall receive the following holidays off, <br />unless required to work by their supervisor or the Mayor in emergencies, and shall receive their regular rate of <br />pay: New Year's Day; Presidents' Day; one-half (1/2) day on Good Friday; Memorial Day; <br />Page 6 of 7 <br />W-1 ..., . _ ....?„ . ??,___W,?_ - . : ... 7
