:?.w. <br />Resolution No. 2007-109 <br />SECTION 1: That this Council, on behalf of the City of North Olmsted, accepts <br />the Cooperative Agreement for Fair Housing Capacity Building from the U.S. <br />Department of Housing and Urban Development ("HUD") in the amount of One Hundred <br />Twenty Thousand Dollars ($120,000) for use in establishing the City's local Fair <br />Housing program, and further authorizes the Mayor, on behalf of the City of North <br />Olmsted, to execute the Cooperative Agreement with HUD, a copy of which is attached <br />hereto as Exhibit A, for the purpose of receiving and expending funds from said Grant, <br />and such further and other agreements with HUD which, from time to time, may be <br />necessary in order to effectuate the purposes of the grant, all following review and <br />approval by the Director of Law. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to Ue an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and <br />welfare, and for the further reason that it is necessary that this Resolution go into effect <br />immediately because of approaching federal deadlines for executing the Cooperative <br />Agreement, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and <br />approval by the Mayor <br />PASSED: /f <br />First Reading: <br />Second Reading: <br />Third Reading: <br />Comniittee: ,/_? <br />-0/6 7 <br />A TTEST.• <br />i? <br />1 Bczrbara L.
