Request for Proposal Submittal Information 1. INSTRUCTIONS The Director of Law for the City of North Olmsted, Ohio is soliciting written proposals from qualified attorneys and law firms to provide outside legal services, as needed, to the City of North Olmsted during the period 2007-2008. To be eligible for consideration, the proposing firm(s) must be qualified, experienced and capable of providing outside legal services in any one or more of the areas of practice as set forth above, and must also be able to meet all other criteria outline in this request for proposal. 2. PROJECT COORDINATION/INQUIRIES James M. Dubelko, Directar of Law, will be the overall project coordinator for this project. All inquiries relating to this request shall be addressed to: James M. SUBMITTAL DATE AND LOCATION Written Proposals must be received by the City of North Olmsted Law Department at the above referenced address by 5:00 p.m., on 52007. 4. CONSIDERATION OF PROPOSALS A. Any proposals submitted to the City are to be prepared at the Proposer's expense. B. Any assumptions made by the Proposer in preparing the proposal must be listed separately and attached to the proposal in writing. C. The City does not obligate itself to accept any proposal. D. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and will have no liability whatsoever to any Proposer whose proposal is not accepted. E. Acceptance of a proposal will not constitute an agreement between the Proposer and the City. Any proposal will not be binding on the City unless and until an Agreement covering all conditions and provisions of the Outside Legal Services has been reduced to writing, executed by both the successful Proposer and the City, and has attached to it the appropriate fiscal officer certificate. 2
