<br />Resolution No. 2007 - 57 <br />Page 2 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Planning be and is hereby authorized to apply for a <br />Transportation for Livable Communities Initiative grant from the Northeast Ohio Areawide <br />Coordinating Agency (NOACA) in an amount not to exceed $64,000.00, and that this Council <br />approves the use of City funds for the local match for said grant not to exceed $16,000.00. <br />SECTION 2: That the Mayor be, and he hereby is, authorized to accept the said grant, if <br />awarded, on behalf of the City of North Olmsted and to execute a contract, if required; and that <br />the Director of Planning be, and she hereby is, authorized to execute all other non-contract <br />documents necessary to effectuate receipt of the grant. <br />SECTION 3: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for the <br />further reason that it is necessary that this legislation go into effect immediately in order to meet <br />the grant application deadline of May 23, 2007; and further provided that it receives the <br />affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: Lew r 0 First Reading: <br />Second Reading: <br />Third Reading: <br />Committee: <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />ARA L.
