<br />Ordinance No. 2007-93 <br />?. <br />? 4 <br />SECTION 1: That the Directar of Public Safety be and he is hereby re-authorized to <br />appoint a temporary, part-time Fire Administrator in the Division of Fire within the Deparhnent <br />of Public Safety, who shall, under the supervision of the Fire Chief, perform the duty of <br />providing professional training assistance to the new Assistant Fire Chief. Said re-authorized <br />temporary position shall terminate on the sixtieth (60`h) day following the date of the <br />appointment or re-appointment of a Fire Administrator pursuant to the provisions of this <br />Ordinance. The temporary, part-time Fire Administrator so appointed or re-appointed shall be <br />qualified by training, certification, and experience to perform the duties of the Assistant Fire <br />Chief. <br />SECTION 2: That the pay scale range for the said temporary, part-time Fire <br />Administrator position shall be $22.00 to $26.00 per hour, with the hourly rate within said range <br />to be determined by the Mayor and the Director of Public Safety. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the <br />fiirther reason that it is immediately necessary to retain the services of a temporary, part-time <br />Fire Administrator in order to address important safety issues in the community, and further <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />/ 't2--*?- <br />P SED: Wz ) o <br />First Reading: S/ <br />Second Reading: YI <br />Third Readin <br />Committee: /j-Ji <br />b ?J <br />? 07 <br />? <br />D?
