Ordinance No. 2007-93 ?. ? 4 SECTION 1: That the Directar of Public Safety be and he is hereby re-authorized to appoint a temporary, part-time Fire Administrator in the Division of Fire within the Deparhnent of Public Safety, who shall, under the supervision of the Fire Chief, perform the duty of providing professional training assistance to the new Assistant Fire Chief. Said re-authorized temporary position shall terminate on the sixtieth (60`h) day following the date of the appointment or re-appointment of a Fire Administrator pursuant to the provisions of this Ordinance. The temporary, part-time Fire Administrator so appointed or re-appointed shall be qualified by training, certification, and experience to perform the duties of the Assistant Fire Chief. SECTION 2: That the pay scale range for the said temporary, part-time Fire Administrator position shall be $22.00 to $26.00 per hour, with the hourly rate within said range to be determined by the Mayor and the Director of Public Safety. SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the fiirther reason that it is immediately necessary to retain the services of a temporary, part-time Fire Administrator in order to address important safety issues in the community, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. / 't2--*?- P SED: Wz ) o First Reading: S/ Second Reading: YI Third Readin Committee: /j-Ji b ?J ? 07 ?
