° Ordinance No. 2004-198 <br />SECTION 2: That the Mayor be and he hereby is authorized, upon approval of <br />the Board of Control, to enter into a contract with the construction management firm <br />selected in the RFP process; and that such contract be in substantially the same form as <br />the City's standard professional services agreement, with only such changes to be <br />hereinafter made as are not substantially adverse to the City and which are approved by <br />the Director of Law. The character of any such changes, as not being substantially <br />adverse to the City, shall be evidenced conclusively by the execution of the agreement by <br />the Mayor and the approval of the agreement by the Director of Law. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare <br />of this City, and for the further reason that it is required to be immediately effective to <br />enable the City to construct a New Fire Station No. 2 at the earliest possible date in order <br />to continue delivery of vital fire and paramedic services in the community; and further <br />provided that it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it <br />shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED,' ?.iLU ??- c, o,?_ <br />First Reading: '?-Xa i a <br />Second Reading: I hs ap,a <br />Third Readinv _211 D,-:5- <br />Committee: `(`',u-"t,e:. <br />AT T.• ARBARA L.
