Ordinance No. 2004-185 Page 2 Be amended, and, as amended, shall read as follows: "143.01 CLERK OF COMMISSIONS. (a) There is hereby created the full-time position of Clerk of Commissions, which shall be appointed by and be answerable to the Director of Planning. (b) The Clerk of Commissions shall be required to attend all meetings, prepare and type minutes of such meetings, and perform other duties consistent with expediting the duties performed by the various City boards and commissions, except for the Civil Service Commission. The Director of Planning may from time to time require the Clerk of Commissions to perform additional duties consistent with the position." SECTION 2: That Section 153.01 of the City Administrative Code, entitled "Organization and Secretary," which presently reads as follows: 153.01 ORGANIZATION AND SECRETARY. The Civil Service Commission previously created by the Charter in Article VI, Sections 1 through 7, inclusive, with three members appointed by the Mayor for six-year terms, shall elect a chairman by majority vote and may appoint a secretary, who shall not be a member of the Commission. If the Commission does not exercise its authority to apuoint a Secretarv to the Civil Service Commission, then the Director of Personnel and Administrative Services shall assign a member of his or her staff to perform secretarial duties for the Commission. SECTION 3: That all ordinances, and parts of ordinances, inconsistent or in conflict with this Ordinance, shall, to the extent of such inconsistency or conflict, be repealed.
