Ordinance No. 2004-184 <br />he receives to the Board of Control for review and award of a contract, until after <br />he has first presented a proposal to Citv Council to fund such contract expenditure <br />and Citv Council, in the 2005 appropriations process, has auproved the funding <br />proUOSaI. <br />SECTION 2: That the Mayor be and he hereby is authorized, upon approval of <br />the Board of Control, to enter into a written contract with the vendor selected in the RFP <br />process. Said agreement, if not in the standard personal service contract form prepared by <br />the Law Department and routinely utilized by the City for such service contracts, shall be <br />in a form and substance that is not substantially adverse to the City and which is approved <br />by the Director of Law. The character of any such changes as not being substantially <br />adverse to the City shall be evidenced conclusively by the execution of the agreement by <br />the Mayor and the approval of the agreement by the Director of Law. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare <br />of this City, and for the further reason that this Ordinance is required to be immediately <br />effective to address security risks existing at the Recreation Complex at the soonest date <br />possible; and further provided that it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and <br />approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: a vO l <br />A <br /> <br />BARBARA L.
