<br />Resolution No. 2004-180 <br />Page 2 <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and <br />welfare and for the further reason that it is necessary that this Resolution go into effect <br />immediately due to the pressing need of the City to renew critical insurance and claims <br />service coverage for its operations prior to the end of this calendar year and to protect the <br />City's finances by authorizing a competitive proposals process, and further provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect <br />and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: <?cc)y <br />ATTEST: <br />First Reading.• _ <br />Second Reading: <br />Third Reading: _ <br />Committee: <br />? <br />BARBARA L.
