<br />MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDiNG <br />The parties agree that, if, at any time during the life of this Agreement (July 1, 2004 <br />through June 30, 2007), the City adopts any ordinance that expressly and directly provides that <br />any non-bargaining unit employee or group of non-bargaining unit employees shal( be entitfed, <br />upon death, disability retirement, or PERS or PFPDF retirement, to convert to pay more than <br />one thousand (1,000) hours of accumu(ated sick leave, then the members of this unit shall <br />likewise be entitled to convert to pay the same increased amount of accrued sick leave at <br />death, disability retirement or PERS retirement.
