benefits contained in paragraph (A) of said Section 5923.05, for members who are cailed or <br />ordered to the uniformed services, pursuant to one of the categories of orders set forth in <br />paragraph (a) above, for a period or periods longer than a month, for each calendar year in <br />which the empioyee performs service in the uniformed services. This Section is not, however, <br />intended to supplant the benefits provided in paragraph (A) of Section 5923.05 for those <br />employees who are members of the Ohio organized militia or members of other reserve <br />components of the armed farces of the United States, including the Ohio national guard, who <br />are entitled, pursuant to that paragraph, to feaves of absence from their respective positions <br />without loss of pay for the time they are performing service in the uniformed services, for <br />periods of up to one month, for each calendar year in which they are performing service in the <br />uniformed services. In addition, this Article is not intended to supplant any ather military leave <br />benefit to which members may be entitled pursuant to any other section of the Ohio Revised <br />Code. <br />Section 2. Unpaid Sick Leave: A regular full-time employee who has completed his <br />probationary period and who has exhausted his paid sick leave shall be granted a leave of <br />absence without pay for a period not to exceed six (6) months for a continuing disability which <br />is substantiated by credible medical evidence. If the illness or disability continues beyond six (6) <br />months, additional sick leave may be granted by the City upon request. The employee shall be <br />the termination of the sick leave. Any dispute as to the ability of an employee to perfarm the <br />work of the job shall be determined pursuant to the medical examination procedure in the <br />General Leave Provisions, Section 5. <br />Section 3.
