employment performing bargaining unit work with the City prior to being eligible for any <br />vacation. <br />Section 5. All regular full-time employees of this bargaining unit hired after July 1,1995, <br />shall, after complying with the terms and conditions contained within this Article be entitled to <br />vacation as follows; <br />Upon Completion of: Vacation Eliqibilifir <br />1 through 4 years 2 weeks <br />5 through 9 years 3 weeks <br />10 through 14 years 4 weeks <br />15 through 19 years 5 weeks <br />20 years and over 6 weeks <br />Section's 2, 3 and 4 above shall also apply to regular full-time employees hired after July <br />1,1995. <br />ARTtCLE 16- HOLIDAYS <br />Section 1. All regular full-time employees shall be entitled to the following paid holidays: <br />New Year's Day <br />One-half (1J2) Day Christmas Eve <br />One half (1/2) Day New Year's Eve <br />Employees Birthday <br />One-half (1/2) Day Good Friday <br />Memorial Day <br />Thanksgiving Day <br />Christmas Day <br />Labor Day <br />Independence Day <br />President's Day <br />Section 2. In addition to the above holidays, a regular full-time employee shall be entitled <br />to observe three (3) personal days as a holiday with pay in each years (July 1 through June 30) <br />covered by the terms of this Agreement. The personal days shall be scheduled by mutual <br />agreement between the employee and his supervisor. <br />Section 3. Prior to July 1, 2004, if an employee does not use sick leave time for any 6 <br />month period, from his last sick day, he shall receive twenty-four (24) hours off or1 at his option, <br />the cash equivalent of twenty-four (24) hours.
