BOOKKEEPER B Effective July 1,2004 through June 30, 2005 the following base rate of pay shall be paid providing the year(s) of full-time service requirement is met: Employee having completed four (4) years of service $14.89 per hour Employee having completed three (3) years of service $14.26 per hour Employee having completed two (2) years of service $13.64 per hour Employee having completed one (1) years of service $13.07 per hour Employee starting Zero (0) year of service $12.49 per hour Effective July 1, 2005 through June 30, 2006 the following base rate of pay shall be paid providing the year(s) of full-time service requirement is met: Employee having completed four (4) years of service _ $15.56 per hour Employee having completed three (3) years of service $14.90 per hour Employee having completed two (2) years of service $14.25 per hour Employee having completed one (1) years of service $13.66 per hour Employee starting Zero (0) year of service $13.05 per hour Effective July 1, 2006 through June 30, 2007 the following base rate of pay sha(I be paid providing the year(s) of full-time service requirement is met: Employee having completed four (4) years of service $16.26 per hour Employee having completed three (3) years of service $15.57 per hour Employee having completed two (2) years of service $14.89 per hour Employee having completed one (1) years of service $14.27 per hour Employee starting Zero (0) year of service $13.64 per hour Employees that have been promoted to the classification of Bookkeeper B, shall be eligible to move to the next higher pay rate step after completing one (1) continuous year of service within this classification. Effective July 1, 2001, employees will be placed in the appropriate step according to completed years of service. Employees in this classification shall be entitled to progress to the Bookkeeper A wage rate step - zero (0) years of service, upon either (a) attaining a composite score of at least eighty (80) percent on a test that the City shall administer at least once each year in the Spring, or (b) receiving a 2-year accounting degree from an accredited college andlor university. Such employees shall thereafter progress to the next BookkeeperA wage rate step, i.e., one (1) year of service, on their next anniversary date of employment with the City, provided that such date occurs at least six (6) months following the date upon which the employee qualifies by test or 56
