Maintaining fuel usage files, tlriver informaton files, vehicle information files, fuel card informaton files. <br />Maintaining the commercial and operators driver's license informaton files. <br />Monitoring and changing the City's heating and cooling system when needed. <br />Monitoring the City's underground storage tank gauging system. Ordering fuel when necessary. <br />Generafie monthly reports from monthly maintenance reports and distribute all reports to each department. <br />Maintaining and updating the Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). <br />Schedule pickups for recyclables and the refrigerator dumpster. <br />Responsible for making sure the personnel accident reports and unusual incident reports are completed <br />properly and sending them to the Director's Office and the Personnel Office. <br />In the absence of the Fleet Manager: Responsible for making decisions, acting on them without direction and <br />completing the daily paper work. <br />Gather and organize informaton for meetings that Fleet Manager attends. <br />Take minutes at meetings when needed. <br />Keep all records of projects, ordinances, meetings and complaints. <br />May supervise and coordinate work of secretary II personnel. Shall assist in evaluating performance of <br />Secretary I1 personnel, <br />Computer applications in the following programs and areas for everyday use: <br />Word, Excel, Lotus, Basic MS-DOS <br />RTA Vehicle Maintenance Software <br />Phoenix Fuel Management Software <br />Starcomm Heating and Cooling System Software <br />Petrovend Underground Storage Tank Gauging System Software <br />Access Commercial and Operators Driver's License informaton <br />Daily and monthly tape backing up procedures, mail merging to create parts labels, macros, cleaning of the <br />computer system and fuel card readers. <br />Special Skills, knowledge and abilities: <br />Knowletlge of general office procedures. Knowledge of assigned departmental policies and procedures. Ability <br />to communicate effectively and exercise professional telephone etiquette. Ability to operate standard office <br />equipment including computers. Skills in typing and wortl processing. Ability to work independenty with <br />minimum supervision. Ability to handle highly confidential informaton in a responsible manner and to deal <br />effectively with the public and other City employees.
